Born in Hokkaido

Engaged in pottery of Kobushi ware and Kazama ware
- 1988
Took part in Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers and taught pottery in Papua New Guinea
- 1991
Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani ware Technical Training Specialist course
- 1994
Engaged in pottery at Kutani ware pottery
- 1998
Built a kiln in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture
- 1999
Won a prize at Fuji Fire Art Space 99
- 2000
Moved the kiln to Echizen-cho (former Asahi-cho), Nyu-gun, Fukui
- 2001
Started pottery using Echizen clay
