Torigoe Kiln
Torigoe Kiln
Yousuke Koizumi
I believe that culture is created by climate. Echizen ware is located in the northernmost of the six ancient kilns, and has been made in Echizen facing the Sea of Japan.
I believe that Echizen ware has embraced the harshness of its location in its form.
And I feel that Echizen ware is cool.
I would like to create the current Echizen ware that inherits such traditions.
