She uses Echizen clay to make distinct but friendly dishes using her own original method of a brush for engobe or delicate decoration by shaving the surface.

Studied under Shichizaemon Kitano

Built a kiln in Kashizu, Echizen-cho (former Miyazaki Village), Fukui Prefecture
